Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken broth
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp thyme
- 2 tsp dill
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp flour
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Small bunch of spinach (optional)
Directions
- Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter for about 15-20 minutes. Add broth, wine, soy sauce and seasonings, and simmer on low till reduced by half.
- Mix flour and milk and add slowly. Simmer until thick, 10 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Add optional spinach if you want and simmer until fully wilted.
- Stir in sour cream and lemon juice just before serving.
